These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Customer”) and Essex Log Burners Ltd (Company No. 14622133, VAT No. 436 6079 78), trading at Unit 28A, Alpha Garden Centre, London Road, Wickford, SS12 0JX (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By using www.essexlogburners.co.uk or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Orders

• Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (e.g. pricing errors, payment issues, or supply restrictions).

• An order confirmation email is sent once your order is received. This acknowledges your request but does not form a binding contract until we accept and process your payment.

• We sell to UK customers; we do not ship outside the UK

2. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are shown in GBP and are  Exclusive of VAT, VAT will be calculated at Checkout. (VAT No. 436 6079 78).

• We accept payment securely at checkout through our approved providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).

• If a pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

3. Delivery & Collection

• Delivery details are explained in our Shipping Policy.

• Orders are fulfilled directly by Essex Log Burners. Depending on stock levels, your order may be dispatched from our Wickford Trade Counter or from one of our trusted UK distribution partners. Regardless of dispatch location, Essex Log Burners remains fully responsible for fulfilment, delivery, and customer support.

4. Returns & Refunds

• Your rights are detailed in our Refunds & Returns Policy.

• In summary:

  • You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

  • Stoves and appliances cannot be returned once installed, connected, or used, unless faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving your return.

5. Warranties

• Many products include a manufacturer’s warranty. Details will be provided with your item.

• Warranties do not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines.

• Your statutory rights are not affected.

6. Use of Website

By using www.essexlogburners.co.uk, you agree that you will not:

• Copy, reproduce, or exploit content without permission.

• Misuse the website or interfere with its security.

• Place false or fraudulent orders.

• Use the site for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

• We are not liable for:

  • Losses caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g. business interruption, loss of profits).

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,

  • Any matter where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

• All logos, images, text, and content on www.essexlogburners.co.uk belong to Essex Log Burners Ltd or our licensors.

• Customers may use our site for personal shopping & Trade Account purposes only.

• These Terms are governed by English law.

• Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
