2. How long does delivery take?
Most orders are delivered within 2–5 working days, subject to stock availability.

Large items (such as stoves) are shipped on pallets.

Smaller items are sent via courier.

Delivery is kerbside only, so someone must be present to accept and help unload.
You may also choose to collect your order from our Wickford Trade Counter.
3. Do you deliver across the UK?

Free standard delivery on orders on/over £250.00 covers mainland UK addresses.

- All prices Exclusive of VAT, VAT is calculated at checkout.
- We currently do not ship to Certain locations (including Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isle of Sheppey, Scottish Highlands, and other offshore/island locations) and do not shipping methods available at checkout for these locations.
- We DO NOT Ship Outside the UK.

4. Can I return an item?
Yes. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from receipt to cancel and return your order, provided that:

Items are unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.

Return shipping is at your own cost (unless faulty or incorrect).
Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the goods back.

5. What warranty do your products come with?
All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Stove bodies are typically covered for 5–10 years.

Accessories and components usually include a 1–2 year warranty.
- Check individual products for their warranty terms and conditions.
To maintain warranty coverage, all stoves must be installed by a qualified HETAS or Gas Safe engineer in line with UK Building Regulations.

6. Do you install stoves?
No. Essex Log Burners does not provide installation services.
We recommend using a qualified HETAS or Gas Safe engineer to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulations. Alternatively we recommend you speak to our sister company www.mrsweep.net in this instance

9. What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please inspect all items upon delivery.

If damaged, sign as “damaged” with the courier and take photos immediately.

Report any issues to us within 48 hours.
We will arrange replacements or refunds promptly.
10. What fuels can I use in my stove?
This depends on the model you purchase:

Wood-burning stoves are designed for seasoned or kiln-dried wood.

Multi-fuel stoves can also burn approved smokeless fuels.
Many of our models are DEFRA-approved, meaning they can be used in UK smoke control areas.
11. Are your prices inclusive or Exclusive of VAT?
As we mainly deal with the Trade all prices on our website Exclusive Of VAT at the standard UK rate (currently 20%). VAT receipts are available upon request. VAT will be calculated at Checkout.
12. Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
13. Do you provide installation certificates?
No. As we do not carry out installations as part of Essex Log Burners, we do not issue installation certificates. Your qualified HETAS or Gas Safe installer will provide certification once the stove is fitted. We recommend you speak to our sister company www.mrsweep.net in this instance
14. Do you supply to smoke control areas?
Yes. Many of our stoves are DEFRA-approved and suitable for use in UK smoke control zones. Please check product specifications or contact us for advice before purchasing.
15. Can I visit your Trade Counter?
